Location and Parking
Free street parking is available in the residential areas in either direction from York Blvd.
There are two paid public parking lots that cost $1/two hours:
1. Lot behind Rosie Bunny Bean Pet Supplies, just off Avenue 51, before Meridian
2. Lot behind the Do It Best Hardware store on Lincoln (between Ave 50 and 51).
The meters in front of the studio have a one-hour limit, which is not enough to get in and out of class.
Please DO NOT park at the Post Office Parking lot.
The studio consists of the main building, the Sanctuary back building, and a covered outdoor patio in between the two.
Enter our main building from York Blvd into our lobby with the reception desk and a small retail shop. This is where our main Gallery yoga room, restrooms, and offices are located.
The lobby is also where we offer tea samples after class as a gesture of hospitality and appreciation of finer things in life. Check out our current list of teas here.
To keep safe during COVID-19, our lobby is limited to no more than three occupants at a time. Please register for your class online to ensure a safe contactless check-in.
Our main yoga room in the front building is called the GALLERY.
The Gallery ordinarily has a capacity of holding 40 mats. It also doubles as an Art Exhibition Space. The gallery rotates exhibitions of local artists every few months.
Once it is safe to restart indoor yoga, we will have a more limited capacity to ensure safe distances.
Currently, our PATIO, located between the main building and the Sanctuary, serves as our outdoor yoga space. Under ample shade, we have enough room to accommodate 11 socially distanced mats for safe in-person practice in the time of COVID.
Ordinarily, our Patio serves as a tranquil gathering space where you can relax, hydrate, and catch up with others in between classes.
It is also where we hold usually hold our monthly community-building Breakfast On The Patio on the first Saturday of each month, with complimentary fresh fruits, juice, nuts, oatmeal, tea, and coffee. Enjoy the sunshine, music, and company of your fellow community members, while eating a delicious and healthy breakfast.
Our healing space, the SANCTUARY is in the back building. Just past the patio, it features dim, gentle lighting and large forest wallpapers to evoke in the healing way of shinrin-yoku—the Japanese belief that simply being in the woods is medicine for the mind, body, and spirit. The SANCTUARY holds two separate offices perfect for healing and wellness practitioners who'd like to provide their services within the Namaste community and beyond.
